This  is a Level II course accredited for:

3 theory hours + 3 hands-on practice hours =  6 CEU/CPD HOURS

This short course addresses the fatigue caused by hormonal surges, lymphatic and structural changes that take place within a women who is in her Post Partum stage of pregnancy.  As a result, prior training in Cranial Osteopathy is required for this particular course.

Why learn how to assess and treat a pregnant woman in her final weeks of Pregnancy using an osteopathic approach?

Following delivery of the baby, the PostPartum Patient’s body is faced with an entirely new set of challenges.  But  it is often only during the Post Partum stage of pregnancy that women think to consult an Osteopath. Even if you have not accompanied this client throughout her pregnancy, you can skill help her recover her energy, relieve breast discomfort and more. And if you have treated her all along her pregnancy, this phase will be even easier to address.

In this short course you will learn how to treat the most common and most debilitating symptoms within the Post Partum patient from structural pelvic changes, to lymphatic challenges, to hormonal overload, and how these changes contribute to pain, fatigue, and mood disorders in Post Partum women.

A complete Post Partum Treatment Protocol is provided to through a training video as well as a document download to use in your clinic.   Individual videos of each technique are also provided that you can watch as many times as you need while you practice your skills.

You will have access to the  Workbook portion for the Final Month of Pregnancy upon enrollment:

How the course works:

This short online course is self paced.  You can enroll and start learning immediately.  It is a practical resource if you have a pregnant client who is in her 1st trimester and you want to gain the knowledge that you need quickly in order to support her now.  To earn 6 hours of CEUs, you simply must complete the hands-on homework assignment and submit it to us for review by your Instructor who will award your Certificate of Completion. If you have a CEU deadline, just mention it in your email and we will prioritize its review.

Your Homework Assignment:

Homework Practice Sheets, Assessment Forms, and a Step-by-Step Treatment Protocol for you to practice at your clinic or home are provided to you to download and keep.

Practicing your Homework:

Ideally you should practice the protocol on a woman who has given birth within the last few weeks, up to 3 -6 months.
