"Treating the Obstetrical Patient Throughout all of the Stages of Pregnancy: an Osteopathic Approach"
Date: Monday December 5th, 2022 9am - 12noon
3 CEUs/CPDs
If you are interested in expanding your practice to focus on Women's health and Obstetrics, this online course is for you!
This live interactive webinar teaches you how to use Osteopathic Manual Therapy to help your pregnant patient in her final month of pregnancy prepare for labour and delivery.
Each stage of Pregnancy creates its own challenges within the body of the future Birthmother.
You can learn to accompany your patient during the final month of pregnancy to help minimize uncomfortable symptoms and help her progress into an easier, safer delivery.
By learning to work with your future Birthmother, instead of waiting until after the Delivery to "fix" her is what Osteopathic Philosophy is all about.
We will review a multi-step Treatment Osteopathic Treatment Protocol for the final preparatory stage of pregnancy and you will be given a downloadable copy of the step-by-step protocol for your clinic.
In order to use the treatment protocol taught in this Webinar, a solid training in a biomechanical approach to Cranial Osteopathy (not energetic Cranio-Sacral Therapy) is needed. Scroll down to the bottom of this page to see the option of enrolling in the online version of this course or click here.
You also have the option of enrolling in all five Webinars and submitting a completed example of your hands-on practice for each Webinar Treatment Protocol to be eligible to earn a Certificate of Completion.

" I loved the course so much, it was very well structured, very informative and the techniques were easy to understand (even though English is not my first language) and apply on my pregnant patients. "
Alina
From Mauritius:
" It’s going great, and more and more women have heard that I work with women’s health issues providing amazing results. It has become a passion of mine, as it has a huge effect on women’s lives and also their relationship with their partners.
I absolutely love your courses and I’m looking forward to doing more!"
Some of the steps in the protocol taught in this Webinar include some Cranial Osteopathy. We understand that training in Cranial Osteopathy as part of a Practitioner's basic DO or DOMP diploma might or might not include this important aspect of osteopathic practice depending on the school you studied with or the country that you reside in.
For this reason, you can enroll in the Fundamentals of Cranial Osteopathy course which has been set for you to work at your own accelerated rate, or at our own self-paced rate. Please scroll down to the bottom of this page to view this option and to read about it.
If you intend on participating in the entire Webinar series and submitting homework assignments in order to be awarded a Certificate of Completion, you must have either taken this course or can prove sufficient prior training in a biomechanical approach to Cranial Osteopathy.
